The week has come to an end at last.. I've got TONS of assignments, especially practical reports pilled up and lots to read and catch up on.. At a glance from the top, it looked easy.. Right now, there's a lot of stress.. This is a bad week in terms of having lots of assignments..

It was so stupid of me in the first place to sleep late on Monday night.. Did the Tree Climbing booth timetable and got really little sleep.. The next day was just a hectic day which included training.. A long day.. I haven't started to sleep in lecture yet, but it was to be soon.. I knew I couldn't keep awake the next day.. I trained too hard during training I think.. I didn't rest much.. Kept moving and hitting for almost that 2 hrs.. By the last half an hour, my body was just acting sub-conciously.. I couldn't control much, my vision was blur, and just swept past everything I needed to do.. Went home to fall into bed without completing any work..

I should have skipped training on Wednesday.. Was such a good day to go back and finish up all the work.. I fell asleep in Dr Zaman's lecture despite all the loud screams she made.. In the end, I became the second person in the lecture to kena her "OH MY GOD! He's dead! I know CPR!" I still stayed after the performance preview and stayed throughout.. It ended really late, especially since the AGLs had something extra for us.. My plan for the Halloween gift for the GL backfired after a slight miscommunication.. At least the chocolates were given out.. A Trick or Trick that comes to you..

Thank god I didn't have to go for training on Thursday.. But I still had to attend a briefing for the weekend tour guide job.. I had a meeting with Lendl's class for the AEM Microbiology course.. We sorted out things and the timetable of activities to be covered.. Luckily I don't have much more work to be done.. The briefing ended early but I reached home the same time as coming home from training.. And I missed getting my new IVP Jacket! This one has "TENNIS" embroided! ARGH!!! I didn't knew Pearlyn would bring it so soon..

Friday was dead.. Whatever it was, I wasn't looking forward to the AGM in the evening.. Alvin and Denyse tried to go for the gym orientation but were too late.. But I was already determined to go gym-ing so I went alone during the 2 hr break.. Its a good time for my thoughts to run wild.. Think of all the negative stuff in life.. But I also promised myself not to bring those stuff out of the gym.. Dr Nevil had a guest speaker which took up most of our lesson.. I fell asleep during the important part and kept awake when he was promoting his university.. Then it was the dreaded meeting.. Turns out the actual meeting was to be after the AGM.. Lotsa people turned up.. In the end, all the union reps left and the meeting was called off.. Another total waste of time.. Should have went home early.. Well, I met Bernice outside the meeting and she told me about my blog.. Well, its linked up already Bernice!

The weekend tour guide job started.. I didn't look forward to it at first because I forgot everything at the briefing.. My first group was really bad.. I brought a bunch of 37 people in only to come out with 25.. the trip in was boring and I didn't do much.. Haiz.. I hardly interacted with the folks.. Only a few.. And they were kinda grumpy.. So I was tired and thanked god when I sent that bus out.. The second group was different though! They were such fun! A mix of chinese and malay GRC chairpeople.. This time I interacted mroe with them and had an easier time getting them to co-operate.. In the tour, Lendl shouted my name and the whole group heard it.. Then the malay auntie kept calling my name.. They also called me "yan dao" which meant handsome.. So all I needed to do was call out "Yan Dao Zhu" or "Handsome Group" and I'd get their attention! I took pictures with them, had jokes with the folks, and the bus I/C talked to me about poly life and attachment.. I was really happy and gave them my 100% in the tour, even doing in Chinese and English.. They came out happy and one of them praised me in front of Alvin and Xiang Ling when we were waiting for the bus.. They made my day..

I came home after going shopping with Vanessa (sushi girl) at AMK hub.. Didn't get what she came for but we had a really tough time deciding which route to take home.. Had to settle for MRT.. I got home in time to watch the Arsenal - Man U match.. Ended 2-2 after that last minute Arsenal goal... *Puke* Lucky asses.. Can't stand such luck, though Real Madrid benefited alot from it last season..

Today was a really early morning.. I got up at 5.30, like normal school days, to go to Bishan Park.. I was looking forward to another interesting group like yesterday's.. Well, I realised, it was up to us to make that happen.. The group came early and I had time to interact well with my group.. This first group called me "Handsome".. Then Lendl came around and tried to promote himself.. Then we agreed on me being "handsome" and him "yan dao".. I brought my group to sit while waiting and learnt a new "vocabulary" from the folks.. I laughed so much.. They were really a nice bunch and listened to me and whatever I said during the tour, though my chinese sucked cuz I didn't know how to translate the chim chim words" The group was disperesed when I made sure I had no one lost and only some went up the bus back to the CC.. I looked forward to the next group..

My next group didn't look much though.. But with the small introduction, they opened up and smiled more.. I got names like "ying jun" and "yan dao" after I told them my chinese name.. Then the oldest auntie stepped forward and said "si wen yan dao", which was the full meaning of my chinese name.. My group then had 2 names, either "si wen yan dao" or "ying jun yan dao".. LOL! The group was really nice to me, and me only.. They couldn't deal much with the slight jokes that the station masters tried to pull and kept saying so many things to disagree.. Their partners could only laugh at them while they had a hard time.. Contradicting to that, they listened well to what I said, and kept to their promise of not collecting their game prizes.. They stuck together throughout though I had to run back at times to get everyone back.. This group was special though.. On the way out, I stopped to let them get ice-cream.. They kept rejecting their offer of getting me one, but after I turned around and continued to lead them to the bus bay, I got a tap on my shoulder and I got a cup of ice-cream in front of me.. Well, as shy and pai seh as I was, I couldn't reject it since it was already bought.. Those I walked past were just "amazed" at my "fu qi".. SO PAI SEH LAH!!! I sent them off and this was yet another satified group I brought around with no one missing!

After the 2 groups, I went in with a few of the tour guides to go play around.. Hmm, I couldn't win any goodie bags or get any ballon scupltures, but had my share of craziness and fun inside.. In the end, we did go home with the goodie bags that were extra from the bus bay.. Went for Dr Kenny Yaw's lesson.. Had a slight misunderstanding with Alvin before that which saw him flare up for a few moments.. Sorry man.. Didn't mean it so harshly..

Well, I was happy the pass 2 days, not cuz of all the "yan dao" and "handsome" things.. Most people would puke at disgust when they know.. Ohh well, I do have some self-awareness people~ Just want to have a ball of a time when I doing such a fun job.. What I was really happy about was that I had fun and did my job well at the same time!

Hmm.. Its another rather busy week.. Lots of stuff to complete.. Hope I get to push back one or two datelines :p
