One week of real fun I guess... Nothing beats having this week, especially when its the time where I get to enjoy before the exams... 4 straight days.... 4 straight days! which nut did this to us?!
That aside, I'm happy for this week, but would have been happier if not for the tests... I've lost quite some sleep... My friends have played a beuatiful part in balancing it all off...
Now, Monday was totally off... Had the dumb practical test for stats... Luckily I was able to get through it... I agree with Nikki though, about being able to do the questions by refering to the book... It was just a matter of whether the answers were correct...
Tuesday was something I was looking forward to since last month... Dad's vacation back from work overseas makes him available for my awards night... I'd really like him to be proud of me for something, and here's a way to prove it: to be in a team that's strong enough to win the gold medal in tournaments and receive full colours award from the school... Yup, though I didn't play a vital part in the team, I'm still think that being able to make it in proves something, and I hope Dad gets it... Jehanne was a last minute suprise to the day when she decided to come for the event... After the late INAC test, I went back up to LSCT to meet her n get changed for the event... Stupid Derric forgot my medal even though he knew I was going for this event... Tsk... Sad thing about the event is, I didn't get to see Steph dance! Never seen her hardwork pay off... Haiz... And the dumb ceremony waste alot of our time lah... If they just wanna mention those super winners they could at least let the rest of us sit and watch till they need us on stage... At least the food made up for most of it though... I went around with Jehanne taking desert after I got my cert and finished my dinner... Gosh the fondue was great! Heehee... Then it was home to rush out and study for MOBio test...
Haiz, I feel asleep after reading only reading the first lecture that was being tested... Migrated from my table to the bed and eventually dozed off... Woke up the next morning LATE and panicking... Was able to devote all my time in the bus to studying the other lecuture, but was only able to do selective reading on the practical chapters... Luckily, luck was on my side (after being blessed with so much for this test)... The chapters I read came out, but my answers were just loads of crap... Just lifted from what I remember... Then while Alvin went out to AMK, I went out of school as well for ice-cream! Heehee... I sorta promised Jehanne to go for it someday... So yup... Then I had to rush back for lecture... Not really lecture, but a movie screening... So long larh! Eat into the SGLs briefing then I was late... GL training wasn't much either today, but they kicked of abit of PT... Some stuff went wrong and hopefully we'll take note of it the next training...
Woohoo! No school! And I'm free to go catch a movie! The Simpsons! LOL... Hilarious! Can laugh non stop for the first 45minutes! Thank gdness they blended in abit of seriousness in it, but you know, it THE SIMPSONS!! So good I could enjoy it with friends! Good laughs... Then it was back to school for 2 meetings... Briefing for the Learning to Lead module was supposed to be short but the stupid guy dragged... Then me and Xiang Ling got lost trying to find the room the SU meeting was held... Luckily we didn't miss much... The meeting wasn't much... Looked like blind voting to me... It was the end where they brought up a few "sensitive" issues that was concerning... Won't say much...
The school week ended off with only 4 hours of lessons... Then I had the company of Alvin and Nadj for pool... Haiz, realised that the longer I played, the worst my form drops... Still, it was fun... Then I went back to eMart... Saw that I still had so much time that I watched POT again! :P... Then Jehanne came over to join me... I didn't know she watched the human-acted series before, but it must be weird if I watch it now... Till 7, I finally left school for Elken... Wah boring lah... Was looking forward to the speech by the guest speaker... Turns out to be almost uneffective...
Well, it doesn't look like anywhere near studying mood for me... I'm already celebrating after 3 tests!
I've still yet to get something for Dad though, and I regreted not taking a family pic at the awards night... Would have been a perfect gift for what I've been planning so far...
