Things have looked up quite abit at last. Just that I still haven't been able to concentrate on my studies... So hard to find that seriousness like before, even though I made myself promise everytime...

E-learning week was pure havoc and frantic... I woke up dead early in the morning and crashed Mr Mak's lecture for the second time... I sat beside my claimed "clone" and new acknowledged daughter... Then it was to the the labs for SMArts programme... I lost to Nadj and Alvin in a game so I had to take the floristry lab... Turns out it wasn't as reluctant as it was... Though I got my group lost due to poor planning, we had the most fun out of the 3 labs... I did flower arrangement and a brochue (or whatever they call it)... Kinda feel that satisfaction that I still have the "gentle" side around... Here's my "proud" creation
Not bad lah... Considering I didn't get the dark red roses... I made friends with the chio teacher who tagged along for this lab... Fun having our talks when we had the chance... Other than that, she was with her students and I was helping and talking to the others...
The unexpected and my feared moment came... Trials!!! I needed to keep my team spot badly, and on top of that, vie for the final spot in the main 7... I wore the weights the whole day and removed them only when I arrived at the court... I think Freddrick was shocked when he saw I had them on... Luckily I had 15 minutes to walk around and get adjusted to being "un-chained"... Otherwise I would have walked as though gravity had increased 10-fold! Trials began shortly and the worst-anticipated happened: Dominic Boey was drawn into my trial group! Crap! I didn't want to play him at all, thinking that I wouldn't stand a chance with my current form against his experience...
The first match between me and Clayton was dissapointing... I didn'tgo all out against him, just placing lousy slices and lobs to him to keep the ball in and wait for his mistakes... He deserved to win the match though, after having one match point... I came through with a close score... I didn't dare look at him in the eye when we shook hands and I even muttered "sorry" to him for the lousy play... Then it was Fred, which I made myself play better... Not bad, more on the offence, and still won... my backhand shots were not fired up at all, fearing I'd stress my shoulder further... Greg had something to say to me after that match.. Though I couldn't make out that word, I think it meant cowardly in a way, referring to my match against Clayton... Then my match against Dominic was brought forward because of an available court... At first it started out with just the 2 of us alone... Then some freshies started coming in to the court to watch... I played at my max this time... Hitting really good shots while at my game... Though he totally dominated his first serve game, I took the remaining points well... I even earned the applause of the spectators when i ran back to return a lob with another lob... It was this match that I realised I had quite abit of me which has yet to come out... From here, I have learnt my game... I took the group, winning all matches... I get my IVP spot, but have yet to decide my ranking in the team...
Friday was crash course work day... I rushed all my e-learning tests and made sure I did most of my work in order to be able to use 3/4 of my weekend in Malaysia... Darren came over to camp at my place so that he could go with me to the Elken event the next day... We didn't sleep... I tried doing work while he studied... Then we got bored at 1am and decided to head out to grab a bite... While at it, we had some photo fun... I'll upload the pics sometime soon cuz' there's an error with blogger now and I gotta get prepared for school in a few minutes time...
Winner's Nite was great... I had quite a sight there... I've never been to such a great award ceremony before... It was at a Stadium!!! WOW!!! And performances from 2 singers (I forgot their names) as well! I got to know quite a few accomplished people in the company there...
The journey back was really long, but I spent most of it sleeping while also trying to do my notes... Haiz... Common test is soon, and I doubt I would do well...
Monday was the first paper... So demoralising... An easy paper, but I didn't remember a single thing I studied... I was not confident of my answers at all, and really just scrapped through... Then I got a message from Ben Lim asking me to go for a Student Union meeting at night... Oh man, I wanted to go home and get rest! I was dozing of at the head advisor's speech... Dead long and boring, but he finally put his points across and I understood the purpose of the meeting... I met the other representatives from the other divisions... They are all really interesting people... Maybe I should start to let loose and be myself around them than stay quite during the next meeting...
I woke up late with a splitting headache on Tuesday... Crap! I had to miss INAC lab... I spent the day slacking and playing instead of studying... There goes the paper tommorow...
Haiz, expectedly, I wasn't confident on the paper again... I was juggling between answers so many times... I spent alot of time memorizing the amino acid structures in school... I think I got those pretty much covered... Still, some questions were really out of hand, and I couldn't do much... Then I watched Mind Your Language with Nicole and Alvin before going to Elken... It really cleared my mind and got me in high spirits for the rest of the day!
I went to Mac's to meet Darren and have my dinner before going... I got my blue shirt from him! Yay! Apparently, I was the second last to receive it... =.=
At Elken, I got to talk to the beatiful Sylvia... We were smile to each other when we met each other at the office everytime, but never got to know each other cuz' we are from different groups... I only knew her name before because she did a small experience sharing before... We exchanged smiles again when she left... Heeheez
I was about to step out of the door yesterday before Joel sent me an sms telling me that the meeting with our teacher was cancelled! Luckily I went out late, or else I would have been somewhere in the middle of the journey until I convince myself the meeting was cancelled... Instead, I went out to celebrate Ryl's birthday! heehee... We went to parkway to settle her gameboy charger problem... Sadly it couldn't be helped... It was like 2 different stores were telling two different stories in total, but both didn't help... Then mum brought Ryl to go shop around, so I had the chance to do the shopping for the stuff I needed to make Ryl's present... It took me 2 hours in total! Searching almost the whole of Parkway... Total cost was $20, leaving me really broke for the week... Then it was dinner! Wee! We went to Grand Plaza hotel to eat! Though the main course dishes in the buffet wasn't fantastic, the desserts made up for everything! I also had lots of smoked salmon! Wah! Great dinner!
Oh yes! Its 1st June already! Ryl's birthday!
Happy Birthday Ochibi!
11 years old already! Hope you accomplish your aim! Heehee... Alright, off to school, and a long day~!
