It's been some time since I was here~ must've been really dusty when i wasn't around... Anywaez, pls be patient, it may be a long ride........~

Common Test
My goodness was that a huge relief!!! Argh!!! From only 2 weenie papers doubled to 4!!! Damn, am I not used to it!!! Well I feel kinda slacky overall with my performance... Barely managed to finish studying, some chapters weren't went through well enough though... I'm so happy that I actually think I have a shot at getting a B for Microbio!!! That 2/10 test just keeps staring at me everytime i flip past it in my file (so dampening)! Hope I get to catch up with the others! Well IPC was really tough, guess I underestimated Dr.Kueh... His paper really needed lotsa thinking! I got the cohort an additional 15 minutes though... Dr.Kueh was observant to check up on a few of us during the paper to view how we're managing it... Guess he knew an hour was too little for his paper! Physio was a blast! Boring 2hrs! There was so much time, I sat there for half an hour to force out 1 mark! Thank goodness it paid off!

Cameron Trip
Just after a day slacking and moaning out the pain of the common test, it was the cameron trip! I was really looking forward to it, but didn't realise it would be so soon! It was a night departure by bus... I went out to the main road to get a cab cuz my place was too ulu

Wee! Off I went! The bus played DOA and i only watched it halfway cuz the beach volleyball scene caught my eyes big time... But what i really wanted out of the bus trip was the pit stop... Oh yay! Ramley Burger! Malaysia's got the original recipe...its really gr8! Cheaper than a fish or chicken burger at mac's and it packs so much!

I got there at about 6.30am in the morning... Had breakfast in some run down hawker centre that served really nice nasi lemak and teh tarik! Then i realised that was actually where I had to get off to go to the hotel, and the hotel is like a long twisting journey from the town up the mountain! Strawberry Farm was what it was called... It was a great place! really cooling! As soon as i saw the TV in the room, my eyes lit up! wahahaha....

Off it was on the first tour... I named our driver/mini tour guide "ah bang" (malay for brudder) cuz he was a typical, calm and relaxed mat... :p he's really familiar with this place, having only 4 years of experience, mostly on the shopping tours... I visited a realy tea plantation! like the one in the geography textbook! (Eat this my Geog reference book!)

Then ah bang took us to the highest peak of cameron highlands, 6666 feet (or was it metres?) above sea level! it started pouring slightly on the way up, but it was heavy wind with light showers by the time we got down! I still tried to go to the top of the veiwing tower, just to get to the "real" peak of cameron, haha... It was ubber cool! I got to take a pic of myself up there but found out mother nature was kinda good a hairstylist herself!

Oh goodness, the way down was really scary! The stairs looked narrower than before! I thought of going down backwards but i would just hold up the traffic behind me... Next it was to the cream of the crop of tea makers, the BOH tea factory

This place was boring... as if i would wanna know how to make tea from tea leaves! It was dumb, till i got to try some of the tea they produced! I love the passion fruit tea they have! Its aroma was juz heavenly! No need for sugar, milk or anythin for it to taste great!

The first tour concluded with a unsignificant trip to a native village, but i did learn quite abit on their past, how they are seprated, school and stuff... Then we went back to the hotel to take a short rest before heading out to explore the town in the night scene

Wah the place was really great! Lotsa shops, and oh yes, the signature product of almost, and mostly every souvenier store or booth there, is either a blown up plastic strawberry or a soft and spongy strawberry keychain... You wouldn't be considered as coming to cameron unless you went how with either one! I bought 2 of the keychains though... wonder who i should give one to...

Anywaez, we had some small but delicious steamboat for dinner, after i got myself a "stressball" from a stall... Then it was the night market that comes only every 2 years, or something like that... That's where i got the keychains... Lotsa stalls there, mostly selling the same thing over and over, corn (plain or roasted), preserved food, plants and cactuses, keychains, small souveniers, caps and shirts, like those found in your regular pasar malam...

We bought dinner back for my grandma after we left and i shared with her cuz it was a big packet of fish head curry! Yippee! I had something to eat while watching the night's EPL matches! Mum let me stay up to watch all of them, but i fell asleep during the West Ham - Man U match... guess i was too tired to even cheer them on...

The next day started off on a good note! Breakfast was a buffet at the hotel! I stuffed myself so i could last till the small lunch (which ended up as no lunch!) at mid day... Then we went up to a small hillside market... Haiz, so boring there, as if the whole night market came from there the previous night! I saw a stall selling the venus flytrap (or wadeva it is) in pots, as though they were normal flowers! You don't get that in Singapore!

Ooh it was the trip to the strawberry farm at last! After a boring talk from the main guide, we went off to pick strawberries on our own! Wow it was really fun! Had a box full! think it cost us RM25 or so... pretty cheap for fresh, self hand-picked berries! Enjoyed it all the way along the long bus journeys to less attractive places...

Oh oh, the day's bus driver wasn't ah bang anymore... I called this one "Mama" cuz he looked like a typical Indian to me... He's a really funny guy though, who can talk chinese rather well! He thought me the difference between Passion fruit and Ai Qing Guo (love fruit, if not wrong), even showing them to me... Then i got to see a different type of hydroponics from Singapore's! Its really big there, every farm or plantation is!! Then i got to walk into a plantation! I took the trip down the slopes alone cuz no one wanted to go with me!

Haix, so fast end already! Freakin long journey back to Singapore! It was a delayed trip again! So i had to treat myself to yet another Ramley Burger! hehehehe...

Oh it feels gr8 to be at home! weee! dunch hafta depend on my jacket so much ler! but the rain back here was much worst! in cameron, it was like sun rays splashing down as liquid matter, but here it flooded parts of Singapore!!! ooh this was bad... anywaez, i have one day to rest and slack at home b4 a busy schedule comes up!

Thursday (21st December)
I woke up to realise the organiser for my pri sch class gathering changed it to an outing of movies and pool this morning! Eunice was the only girl there... all the girls PS her or smtn, or mebbe she was the oni one silly enough to go... well, not much has changed for a few people... Bosi, the "Zhong" twins haven't changed much... Sherman just kept long hair as well as his feelings for Rui Hua (man that guy's devoted)! had a long chat with Eunice the whole walk... den she asked me if i was attached... seems we had quite a similar experience the 5 years since we were classmates... then we relieved some pri sch memories during lunch... heehee... was really dumb when we thought back...

The movie was really gr8 though! night at the museum... kinda one of those cheesy, motivation boosting story line embedded into it, but overall, it was really funny! laughed non-stop!! then i walked around after leaving my buddies to get presents... haiz... today burn a whole in my wallet ler...

Friday (22nd December)
Today's my class picnic! heehee... was a blast! was boring on the entertainment side, but we still did have laughs and i thought the gift exchange was rather meaningful, in a sense... i got a ling sleeved shirt from Charlotte... actually, i drew her name before we had to repick that day... this time she picked me on the second draw... i gave Yvonne the Minitoons tortoise... hope she liked it...

Ooh well, today itself was rather dissapointing... i went to play soccer but had lotsa mishaps... well, dun wanna talk about it... Xiang Ling gave me something to meddle with now... so i'd go get it done and over with... and I'm still looking for people to go for the Song Composing Club Concert with me! anyone ler! haha! ooh i'll try my luck again tmr or smtn... gotta cut things short now... got a xmas party tmr! weeee~! and I hope i'd get to do an EPL post tmr... Darren's been waiting for it i think... :p got lots to talk abt~

everlasting memories~ 2:54 AM
